Camden took advantage of several errors in the first two innings to take an 8-1 lead. Both teams scored a run in the 3rd. DePatsy walked and scored on a bases loaded walk to Maddy White. For Camden, Audrey Clement singled and scored on a Maddie Wickendon sacrifice ground out.
Waldoboro scored two runs in the 4th when Josie Jameson and Cassie Wadsworth walked and scored on a Roseanne Boyington double. Waldoboro held Camden scoreless in the bottom of the 4th, then scored five runs in the 5th to tie the score. White and Cassidy Benner scored on passed balls, Olivia Sevon hit an RBI single and McKayla Wallace drove in a run on an error in the rally.
Camden responded with three runs in the 5th to take a three run lead. Delong walked and scored on an error, O’Donal singled and scored on a Pierce fielder’s choice, and Sam Leighton hit an RBI single. Waldoboro rallied for three runs in the top of the 6th to knot the score at 12-12. White and Benner singled to set up an RBI error to Jameson. Benner and Jameson scored on passed balls.
Camden scored in the bottom of the 6th for the game winner.
Hitting for Waldoboro were Boyington with a double, and Sevon, White and Benner a single each. Hitting for Camden were O’Donal with 3, Clement and Leighton 2 each, and Sarah Contento a single.
