Cape Elizabeth baseball defeated Lincoln Academy 6-2 in a West Class B semi-final game on Saturday.
Marshall Peterson collected the win (2R,6K,6H,1B,1HP). Devin Scherer took the loss (2K,7H,3B).
Tim Brigham hit a two run homerun for Cape in the third. They added four runs in the fourth with a two out rally. Mike Best hit a 2 run single and Brenden Tinsman a RBI double.
Lincoln scored one run in the first when John Henry reached on an error and scored on a Wally Morris single. They added one in the sixth when Henry beat out an infield single and scored on a Brady Leeman single.
