Second seed Cape Elizabeth boys basketball team defeated sixth seed Lincoln Academy 57-39 in a West Class B semi-final at the Cross Arena in Portland on Feb. 19. Cape took the lead early in the first quarter and continued to build over the next three quarters, leading 15-5, 32-19, and 47-26 at the quarters.
Scoring for Lincoln were Cody Tozier 18, Brady Leeman 11, Devin Scherer 4, Sawyer Pinkham 2, Taylor Holmes 2. Scoring for the Capers were Edward Galvin 13, Quinn Hewitt 9, Marcus Donnelly 9, Jack O’Donnell 6, Joseph Inhorn 6, Marcus Donnelly 5, Grady McCormick 4, Justin Guerette 3, and Vine Tarpo 2.
