Wiscasset senior Matt Chapman was crowned State Class C 110 high hurdle champion on June 2 at Massabesiac High School. Chapman placed second in the 300 hurdles. Max Sampson placed third in two jumping events, the long and triple jumps.
Boothbay Regions Jay Hasch placed second in the high jump and fifth in the triple jump. The Seahawks 4×800 relay placed sixth with Blake Erhard, Will Perkins, Kyle Ames and Graham Harris running a leg.
Wiscasset senior Ayanna Stover placed second in the 100 hurdles for the girls. Grace Webber took fifth in the State C high jump, and Vannessa Dunn sixth in the 300 hurdles. Wiscasset’s 4×100 relay team placed fourth with Gwen Webber, Grace Webber, Dunn and Stover running a leg.
For Boothbay girls, Reagan Cola placed fourth in the 400.
