For the men Chris Lincoln and Bill Dagley were first low gross and Doug Hancock and Stan Wade were second. Alan Lessner and Barry Knott were first low net and Tom Burnham and Casey Burnham came in second.
He went on to say that he thought his negative attitude caused the team to play harder and better. “It worked,” he said, “We won!” Kyle set a good example for the group by winning all but two of his matches.
The season is winding down at Wawenock, but this week is the annual challenge between the Boothbay Country Club and Wawenock. It ought to be an interesting contest as our players are out to avenge last year’s loss.
