CLC Y Girls, Medomak 6th Grade Boys Win Cabin Fever Tournament

CLC Y 5th and 6th grade girls’ travel team, and Medomak 6th grade boys won the CLC YMCA 5th and 6th grade Cabin Fever Basketball Tournament, on Feb. 26 and 27 in Damariscotta.

Girls’ TournamentThe following results are incomplete, as information on two consolation games were not provided to the LCN.CLC 34 – Boothbay 6th 12CLC Y girls topped Boothbay 6th 34-12 in the first game of the girls’ tournament. Scoring for CLC were Brie Wajer 10, Sophie Schumacher 10, Alyx York 8, Olivia York 4 and Brianna Genthner 2. Scoring for Boothbay were Ava Traina 8, Hannah Morley 2 and Nicole Rice 2.Medomak Gold 30 – Boothbay 5th 8Medomak Gold topped Boothbay 5th graders Friday night, 30-8. Medomak 6th 52 – Wiscasset 5th 21Medomak 6th cruised to victory over Wiscasset 4th in the third boys’ game on Friday. Scoring for Medomak were Zach Starr 17, Nicholas DePatsy 16, Jackson Vail 6, Riley McCollett 4, Sheldon Lavway 4, Nick McAuliffe 2, Ollie Brown 2, and Lash 2.
