Coastal Christian Top Bucksport, Fall To South Liberty

Coastal Christian boys’ basketball team stayed with South Liberty for three quarters, before foul trouble took its toll. South Liberty pulled away in the final period for a 79-65 win.

Scoring for the Rams were Mason Vermilion 19, Dustin Burnham 18 (5-3’s), Jeremiah Dickinson 10, Bill Jones 9, Jonah Cronkhite 4, Tony Lombardo 3 and Caleb McLaughlin 2. Scoring for South Liberty were Billy Denman 29, Burt Ludwig 22, Alex Giguire 10, Ben Daggett 7, Ryan Turffs 6 and Malcome Wadworth 5.

Coastal Christian 66 – Bucksport 30The Coastal Christian Rams defeated Bucksport in a lopsided contest. Scoring for the Rams were Vermilion 22, Harry Stred 10, Jones 9, Cronkhite 8, McLaughlin 6, Ethan Townsend 5, Lombardo 4 and David Fish 2. Scoring leaders for Bucksport were D. Trumble 12, Merrill 6, and V. Trumble 6.
