Coastal Hoops boys’ basketball team opened their fall basketball season on Sunday with two wins. Fall basketball is sponsored by MBR.org and has 46 high school boys teams playing. Teams are not affiliated with any high school or athletic program.
Teams play double headers for five Sundays, and the sixth week play an all-star game. “I was amazed how well it is set up and run,” Coastal Hoops’ coach Tim Feltis said.
Coastal Hoops defeated East Corinth 35-15 in game one. Andrew Feltis scored 10, Pat Mullin seven, Everett Martin six, Merritt Wotton five, Dylan Leavitt five, and Kyle Scherer two.
In game two, Coastal Hoops handed ME.Reign a 55-39 loss. Scoring for the local boys were Feltis with 20, Mullin 12, Scherer six, D. Leavitt four, Martin four, Ryley Leavitt three, Jalen Lincoln two, Wotton two and Cameron Dodge two.
