Cony boys basketball team defeated Medomak Valley 62-53 on Jan. 9 in Waldoboro with a fast paced and aggressive game. Medomak trailed by three with a minute and a half to go. They fouled Cony to stop the clock, and the Rams delivered at the foul line, sinking six of six in the final 1:13 to play to seal the win.
Medomak was led by Chris Bowman with a career high 21 points (6 steals), Alec Coughlin 10 and Josh Goldrup 9. Cony was led by Simon McCormick 16, Ian Bowers 11, Jordan Roddy 10 and Amahde Carter with 9
