Damariscotta Bank & Trust defeated McDonald’s 9-7 on Saturday in an two and a half hour game to win the Lincoln Little League softball championships.
DB&T relief pitcher Sydney Dyer shut McDonald’s down in the final three innings to secure the win.
Chloe Hallowell reached base by making contact with her bat four times and scored three runs in the win. Audri Dalrymple hit and Dyer hit twice and Ashely Mason, Bailey Pendleton, Logan Molt, Heather Gagnon, Emily Guy and Briana Blanchard once each.
Hitting for McDonald’s were Olivia York who reached four times, Sophie Schumacher two, Kylee Poland two, Briana Genthner two, and Kate Laemmle, Christine Hilton, Cassidy Day and Kaitlyn Feltis once each. Danielle Pinkham took the loss for McDonald’s.
