Damariscotta Bank & Trust defeated Colby & Gale 18-6 to become the Lincoln Little League Softball division champions.
Colby & Gale struck first for three runs in the top of the first, but DB&T would put up six runs in the bottom half of the inning to take the lead. Colby & Gale added one more in the second to cut the lead to two. DB&T answered with three to go up 9-4.
Colby & Gale closed the gap to 9-6 with two runs in the third. However, DB&T would score four in the third and five in the fourth to close out the game with a 12-run win.
Hitting for Colby & Gale were Teagan Galliger with two singles, and Meghan Riddle, Kaitlin Tozier, Maddy York, Kayleigh Allen, and Aleah Baneone a single each.
Hitting for Damariscotta Bank & Trust were Emily Kelsey with a double and three singles, Sophie Gamage two singles, Halle Hallowell a triple, and Jenna Gilbert, Jayden Gilbert, Anna Lee Presley, Jewel Farrin, Taylor Fink, Olivia Stiles, and Payson Kayler a single each.
