Junior Nicholas DePatsy broke Medomak Valley’s all time scoring record for a single game, in the Panthers 87-27 win over Belfast in their KVAC opener Friday night. DePatsy scored 48 points to break Alan Baron’s record of 45 set in 1975. DePatsy tied Baron’s record of scoring 18 field goals in a game. DePatsy hit seven 3-pointers in the game.
Zach Starr added 14 points, and Micah Williamson 8 to lead the Panthers. Belfast was led by Rory Ambrose with six.
