Medomak Valley junior Gabby DePatsy was named 2017 Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Softball Player of the Year. DePatsy won all six KVAC games she started this season for the Lady Panthers, with a 2.40 ERA. She had a WHIP (walks and hits per inning pitched) average of 1.49.
DePatsy had an on base slugging percentage of .962. She hit .453, with 39 hits, including five homeruns, three triples and six doubles. She drove in 27 runs. In 53 at bats, she struck out only six times.
