Baseball season is off to a rousing start.
Mothers, grandmothers, great-grandmothers, families and fans enjoyed an afternoon T-ball game at the Pemaquid Beach baseball field on Sunday, May 12.
Everyone had a fun afternoon. It was a delightful Mother’s Day. The sun was shining brightly and there was a nice ocean breeze.
Maisey Wotton, No. 4 on Wotton’s Lobster Wharf team met up with her friend Cash Whitney, No. 4 on the Midcoast Solar team, at third base and Cash escorted Maisey home to finish out the game.
Ballplayers as well as visitors got a chance to enjoy a late afternoon on the beach. The water was certainly refreshing for those who wished to dip their toes.
