Lincoln Academy and Boothbay Region opened their swimming season on Dec. 5 in Boothbay. Lincoln collected 12 first places and Boothbay eight.
Girls results
Lady Eagle Essie Martin won the 50 free in 29.7. Elise Dumont won the 100 fly and was second in the 100 back in 1:22. Rowan Carroll-Christopher was second in the 100 breast in
1:34 and fourth in the 200 IM in 3:14.
Anna Sirois was second in the 100 fly in 1:28. Phoebe Pugh took third in the 200 free. Sammy Ober was third in the 200 IM in 2:59 and 100 free in 1:12. Cassie Leeman
was third in the 50 free in 32.71. Elizabeth Gilbert was third in the 100 back in 1:27. Thalia Eddyblouin was fourth in the 200 free in 3:15, and Samantha Aho fourth in the 100
free in 1:18.
Boothbay’s Nicole LaBreque won the 200 IM in 2:39 and 100 free in 1:17. Evy Case won the 100 back in 1:17 and was second in the 200 IM in 2:41. Lincoln Hamblet won
the 100 breast in 1:30 and was second in the 50 free in 31.97. Emma Pearse won the 100 free in 2:28 and second in the 100 free in 1:06. Brenna Alley was second in the 200 free
in 2:30 and third in the 100 fly in 1:31. Samantha Carter was third in the 100 breast in 1:36 and Molly Thibault fourth in the 100 back in 1:32.
Boothbay girls won all three relays, the 200 medley in 2:22 with Alley, LaBreque, Case, and Carter; the 200 free in 2:02 with Alley, Case, Pearce, and Hamblet; and
the 400 free in 5:03 with Thibault, Jaime Wheeler, Pearce, and Hamblet.
Lincoln girls took second in the relays, including 200 medley in 2:26 with Dumont, C-Christopher, Ober and Martin; the 200 free in 2:06 with Dumont, Ober, Leeman,
and Martin; and the 400 free in 5:20 with Leeman, Aho, C-Christopher, and Annie Farnsworth.

Lincoln boys won all three relays, the 200 medley in 2:10 with Noah Jordan, Abe Steinberger, Whitman Vaughn, and Billy Seaman; the 200 free in 1:50 with Jordan, Camden Gulden,
Camden Reiss, and Tom Thelander; and the 400 free in 4:30 with Vaughn, Nathan Osborne, Reiss, and Gulden.
Gulden won the 200 free in 2:07 and the 100 fly in 1:06. Jordan won the 100 free in 1:00 and the 100 breast in 1:14. Reiss won the 200 IM in 2:50. Seaman won the 100
back in 1:30 and was second in the 100 fly in 1:23. Vaughn won the 50 free in 27.89.
Osborne took second in the 200 free in 2:06 and third in the 100 free in 1:15. Steinberger was second in the 100 breast in 1:25 and third in the 50 free in 33.13.
Martin Kucera was second in the 100 back in 2:04.
For Boothbay, Chris Groneng was second in the 100 free in 1:10 and third in the 100 breast in 1:38.
