Nolen Michael knotted the score for the Eagles on a slow roller that bounced off keeper Andrew Shaw’s hands and in. Ming Sun made it a 3-2 game at the half.
Three minutes into the second half, Ming Sun got a piece of the scoring action. Gonzalez scored again 10 minutes into the half. Tranh Nguyen scored on a penalty kick with 21:02 to play. Gonzalez netted the hat trick with 18:56 to go when he collected a short pass from John Henry, then worked his foot magic before unleashing a shot inside the right post.
Nate Simmons made it an 8-2 game with 5:36 to play. Michael scored again with 1:38 to go. Ethan Carmolli scored the tenth Eagle goal of the day on a feed from Michael.
Lincoln held a 30-6 advantage in shots. Nair made four stops in net for the Eagles and Liam Brinkler one. Shaw made 20 saves for the Phoenix.
