Lincoln Academy girls basketball team defeated Leavaitt 58-41 Tuesday night in Newcastle. The Lady Eagles led 49-26 going into the final quarter. Lincoln’s bench saw plenty of playing time, including playing the final 12 minutes of the game. The Eagles were led by Brie Wajer 18, and Taylor Oliver 10. The Hornets were led by Sophia Gilbert 15.
