Lincoln Academy boys and girls basketball teams were victorious Friday night in a double header with Oceanside in the Eagles nest.
Lincoln girls beat the Mariners 47-45 to avenge an earlier season loss. Brie Wajer hit a 3-pointer and Danielle Pinkham settled two foul shots in the final 1:20 of play to boost the Eagles. Lincoln was led by Wajer 18, Pinkham 8 and Leslie Sandefur 7. Oceanside was led by Makenna Brooks 14 and Payton Billingsly 11.
Lincoln boys sank the Mariners 51-50. Brady Leeman and Sawyer Pinkham hit 3-pointers to recapture the lead for the Eagles in the final 1:22 to play. The Eagles were led by Pinkham 17 and Devin Scherer 10. Oceanside was led Keenan Hendricks 16 and Nick Mazurek 16.
