The Eagles jumped out to an 8-0 lead, on hoops from Matt Poole, Troy Carter and Gage Peaslee and foul shots from Peaslee and Carter. Carter had three steals and Ben Mclain three assists in the first period. Rockland scored their first basket of the game with 4:20 to play. Lincoln went on a seven-point run to lead 15-3, and ended the quarter up 18-5.
The Eagles led 25-15 at the half, before Rockland mounted a come back bid in the third. The Tigers went on a 13-2 run, including scoring 10 straight points to take their first lead of the ball game with 13 seconds to go in the period. Teel Ilvonen stole an inbound ball to tie the score and Tyler Patterson scored the go ahead hoop on a feed from Dylan Meklin. Pat Mulllin hit a three-pointer at the buzzer to give Lincoln a 37-36 edge going into the final period.
Ilvonen hit a three-pointer mid-way through the final period to give Rockland the lead for good. The Eagles were forced to foul, and the Tigers made good on five of seven shots in the final 1:12 to seal the win.
