Lincoln Academy boys soccer team held off the Panthers in the second half to win 2-1 at Medomak Valley’s Homecoming on Saturday.
The two county teams played even in the first half with eight shots each. Medomak took a 1-0 lead with 7:40 to go in the half, when Zach Starr received a 50 yard through pass from Micah Williamson and scored on a breakaway. The Eagles knotted the score a minute later. Devins Scherer collected a pass from Sawyer Pinkham and breached the Panther net to tie the game 1-1.
