Lincoln Academy’s boys’ varsity basketball team defeated the Alumni 63-51 Friday night. After exchanging early baskets, Lincoln rattled off six straight points to take the lead for good. The younger Eagles led 16-11 at the quarter, 29-18 at the half and 44-30 at the end of three.
Lincoln mounted a balanced offensive attack with four players scoring in double figures.
Andrew Feltis led the charge with 17 points (13R,4A,1B), Pat Mullin added 15 (9R,5A,1S), Ben McLain 11 (5R), Ethan Wajer 11 (4R,2S,4A), Kyle Scherer seven (7R) and Cameron Dodge two. Brandon Reilly had eight rebounds.
Unofficial scoring for the Alumni were Steve Williams nine (7R,2B), Jesse Bagley eight (5R), Dave Prior eight (7R), Shawn Elwell seven (5R,1S), Kirk Wright seven, Luke Alley three, Ross Pushard three, Matt Ford two, Gage Peaslee two, and Matt Poole two (7R,4S). Also playing for the Alumni was Troy Carter.
