Lincoln Academy girls basketball team avenged an earlier season loss to Oceanside Friday night in Newcastle. The Lady Eagles led at every quarter break, then sank six of eight foul shots in the final minute of play to pull out a 53-45 win over the Mariners.
Oceanside boys defeated Lincoln Academy 54-37 in the first game of the night.
