Lincoln Academy girls soccer team defeated Medomak Valley 3-2 in the Lady Eagles Homecoming match-up Saturday night on the William A. Clark field in Newcastle. The Panthers scored two quick goals from Maggie Cox and Cassie Smeltzer to set Lincoln back on their heels early. The Eagles tied the game by halftime on goals from Brie Wajer and Olivia York. O. York scored the game winner on a back pass from Alyssa Smith with 5:24 remaining in the game.
Medomak boys soccer team defeated Lincoln 3-1. The Panthers jumped out to a 2-0 half time lead on goals from Adam Eutsler and Alvaro Valls. Cameron Leach made it a 3-0 game eight minutes into the second half. The Eagles got on the boards 19 minutes into the second half on a penalty kick taken by Aaron Gonzalez.
Lincoln Academy field hockey lost to Camden Hills 9-0 Saturday morning during Homecoming on Sept. 26. The Windjammers were led by three goals from Hilary Merrifield and two from Emily Daggett.
On Friday, Lincoln boys and girls cross county teams ran to victories in their Homecoming meet. Sam Russ and Emma Allen ran to first place finishes for the Eagles.
