Number one seed Ellsworth defeated Medomak Valley 6-2 Friday under the lights in Ellsworth in an East Class B semi-final match-up.
The physical, trash talking Eagles jumped out to a 4-0 lead Medomak scramble back with two goals to pull within two. The Eagles scored two late goals. Patrick Madden and Adam Eutsler scored for Medomak. Scoring for Ellsworth were Jack Weeks with two, and Conor Maguire, Kyle Golding, Matt Curtis ans Lukas Firestone with a goal each. Jeff Weeks was yellow carded in the first half after an altercation with Panther keeper Noah Beck.
