Erskine Academy boys and girls basketball teams clipped the Panthers in games that came down to the wire on Jan. 4.
The Lady Eagles defeated Medomak girls 47-46, led by Jordan Linscott with 15 points. The Eagles out scored the Panthers 19-15 in the final period. Medomak was led by Lydia Simmons with 12, Maddy White 10 and Abby Lash 9.
Erskine boys held Medomak to just one basket from the floor in the fourth quarter to rally from behind to beat the Panthers 47-43. Dagan Savage connected at the foul line for one shot with 26 seconds to play and Austin Dunn two shots with 8.7 seconds to go to seal the win for the Eagles. Erskine was led by Dunn with 18 and Braden Soule 10. Medomak was led by Trevor Brown 12 and Ryan Creamer 10.
