The Maine Association of Basketball Coaches announced the 2009 Maine McDonald’s High School Senior All-Star teams on Feb. 18.
The McDonald’s Senior All-Star game will be played at Newman Gymnasium at Husson University in Bangor on Sat., March 14.
The boys’ C/D game will start at 9:15 a.m.; the boys’ A/B game at 11 a.m., the girls’ A/B game at 12:45 p.m., and the girls’ C/D game at 2:30 p.m.
A slam dunk contest will be held at 10:30 a.m., and a 3-point shooting competition at 2 p.m.
Mr. and Miss Basketball will be announced on Fri., March 13. A day ticket is $7 for adults and $5 for students.
Local players selected are Alex Goldrup (East A/B) from Medomak Valley; Dan Hallinan (West C/D) from Boothbay; and, Jason Dennison and Nick Hinkley (West C/D) of Wiscasset.
