A free non-contact football camp, sponsored by Lincoln County Football, will be offered from July 31 to Aug. 2 from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Great Salt Bay Community School football field.
Coaches from all levels of play (Gr. 1 through high school) will be providing instruction in basic football skills that will allow each participant a chance to try all aspects of football. Players will work in groups with similar-aged peers on skills, and during other games such as flag football and capture the flag.
Sign-ups for all levels of play will take place each day at 6 p.m. at the GSB football field immediately after the camp, and on Aug. 13 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Supplies Unlimited in Damariscotta.
