A free non-contact football camp, sponsored by Lincoln County Football, will be offered July 31 to Aug. 2 from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Great Salt Bay School football field, Route 1B, Damariscotta.
Coaches from all levels of play (grade 1 to high school) will be providing instruction in basic football skills that will allow each participant a chance to try all aspects of football. Players will work in groups with similar aged peers on skills, and during other games such as flag football and capture the flag.
Sign-ups for all levels of play (grade 1 to high school) takes place each day at 6 p.m. at the GSB football field immediately after the camp, and is on Aug. 13 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Supplies Unlimited in Damariscotta.
