Giglia and Leeman win Jefferson 5K

Jian Giglia won the Jefferson 5K in 19:03 and Nikki Leeman was the first female finisher in 21:22 on Sat., Aug. 21. The two 2010 Lincoln Academy graduates, and best friends, headed off to Keene State College on Sunday. The race was nick-named the Jefferson, not the community day, 5K, after community day was cancelled due to school construction. Funds from the race support Troop 216 Boy Scout’s outdoor programs.

Joan Jackson was the only walker, and completed the 5K course in under 45 minutes.
