Oceanside 16 – Medomak 4
Oceanside plated 10 runs in the fifth inning to beat Medomak8th baseball 16-4 in Busline League playoffs on Monday. Ben Ripley collected the win and Uriah Thongsopephone the save for Oceanside. Nathan Emerson took the loss, and Eli McCollett and Wyatt Fillmore pitched in relief.
Oceanside scored four runs in the first and one in the second to take a 5-0 lead. The Riverhawks rallied for four runs in the top of the fifth to pull within one. Will Perry and Eli McCollett beat out infield singles and scored on an Emerson double. Fillmore drove in a run on an error. Emerson scored on a passed ball.
Oceanside scored 10 runs in the home half of the fifth. Oceanside ended the game by 12-run mercy ruling in the sixth when LeBlanc reached on an error and scored when Martin reached on an error.
Hitting for Medomak were Fillmore and Perry with two singles each, Emerson a double, and McCollett a single. Hitting for Oceanside were Labbe and LeBlanc with two each and Cody, Thongsopephone, Ripley, and Kadziminski a single each.
GSB 20 – Camden 19
GSB and Camden dueled head-to-head in an evenly matched game on June 8. GSB took the win, 20-19, and advanced to the South Division Championship.
Gus Hunt scattered five hits over four innings to earn the win for GSB; allowing nine hits. Hunt also struck out two and walked two. Quincy Perry (1I,1K,3B,1H,4R), Tiger Cummings (1I,0K,1B,3H,5R) and Jason Greenleaf (1K,0K,1B, 0H,1R) pitched in relief.
Brown took the loss for Camden (2/3I,1K,2B,1H,4R). Also pitching for Camden were Nate V. (1 1/3I, 1K, 1B), Johndro (5 2/3I, 6K, 9B, 9H, 15R) and Hebert (1/3I,1R) pitched in relief.

Tied 13-13 after five innings, Camden took a six-run lead with five runs in the sixth and one in the seventh. GSB responded to the challenge to score six runs in the bottom of the seventh to win.
Hitting for GSB were Perry with a single and two doubles, Giberson with two singles, and Hoffman, Clark, Carter, Hunt, and Cumming a single each. Hitting for Camden were Cayouette with a triple, Johndro and Johnson with two singles each, and Hebert, Knowlton, Nate V., and McGeady with a single each.

Softball
Bristol 28 – Medomak 21
Bristol rallied in the seventh inning to beat Medomak 7th softball 28-21 on Monday. Bristol took advantage of 31 walks to rally from behind to upset the higher seed Riverhawks.
Medomak jumped out to an 8-0 lead after two innings. Nash and Weeks singled and Cohen hit a home run in the first inning for the Riverhawks. Both teams scored two runs in the third, before Bristol got things rolling in the top of the fourth with 11 runs to take a 13-10 lead.
The Riverhawks batted around in the home half of the fourth for 10 runs to retake the lead 20-13. Bristol got two runs back in the fifth and scored four more in the sixth to pull within one 20-21. The Blue Devils rallied for nine runs in the top of the seventh. Lauren Benner hit a double to drive in the tying run, then scored on a passed ball to give the Blue Devils the lead.
Bristol held Medomak to one run over the final three innings to win 28-21 and advance in Busline League playoff action.
Hitting for Bristol were Jenna Gilbert and Emily Kelsey with two singles each and Jayden Gilbert a single. Kelsey scored five runs, Halle Hallowell and Madi Bradbury four each, and Sophie Gamage, Jayden Gilbert, Erika Mathieson, and Benner three each.
Hitting for Medomak were Chloe Bosson with a double and single, Kayla Wotton two singles, Kayla Donlin a triple, and Cheyenne Nash, Kylie Weeks, Cheyenne Greene, Serena Poland, and Alyssa Chandler a single each. Cohen and Bosson scored four runs each and Nash and Donlin three each.
Medomak 7 – Belfast 6
Medomak 8th softball defeated Troy Howard 7-6 in their Busline semi-final playoff game on Tuesday. Addy Jameson struck out 14 in the win (8B). Richards took the loss for Belfast.
Troy Howard jumped out to a 6-0 lead, before the Riverhawks soared back. Lydia Simmons hit a two run single. Hattie Watmough, Aubrey Schaeffer and Maddy White all brought in a run in the 5th inning, making the score 6-5. Emalee Grant and Olivia Jenkins both scored runs in the bottom of the 6th.
Belfast tied the game in the 6th, before Aubrey Schaeffer hit an in-the-park-homerun in the bottom of the 7th for the win.
Hitting for Medomak were Hattie Watmough, Aubrey Schaeffer, Maddy White, Lydia Simmons, Melayna Benner and Olivia Jenkins.

Oceanside beat GSB softball in the semifnals.
