Hampden Academy were double trouble for Medomak Valley on Jan. 30. Hampden boys defeated the Panthers 45-31 in a defensive game. It is the first time this season that the hot shooting Hampden team has been held to under 50 points. Hamden is 14-1 and Medomak 10-5.
In girls basketball action, Hampden Academy defeated the Lady Panthers 56-39.
