Ross Hanley broke Wiscasset’s 100 butterfly record in 58.95 on Jan. 15 in Augusta. Kara Mullin broke her own Lincoln Academy record in the 200 free in a time of 2:12.64.
Lincoln Academy girls broke the 400 free relay record in 4:38.12 with Mullin, Emily Whitaker, Allison Fisher and Olivia DeLisle swimming a leg.
Gardiner won the girls’ meet with 101 points, Lincoln 85 and Wiscasset 9. Wiscasset boys scored 80 to beat Lincoln 69.
LA girls won the 200 free relay in 2:00 with Katie Jackson, Whitaker, DeLisle and Mullin.
They placed 2nd in the 200 medley relay in 2:25 with Jackson, Mullin, Carolyn MacDonald, and Phoebe Arnold. The Lady Eagles also took 3rd in the 200 free relay in 2:14 with Fisher, Eva Schroeder, Katie Moran, and MacDonald.
Mullin won the 200 free in a record time of 2:12.64 and won the 500 free in 5:56. DeLisle won the 50 free in 29.16 and the 100 breast in 1:24. Jackson was 2nd in the 50 free in 29.43 and 100 back in 1:20.
MacDonald placed second in the 200 IM in 2:59 and the 3rd in the 100 free in 1:09. Fisher was 2nd in the 200 free in 2:39 and 100 free in 1:09.
Wiscasset girls placed 4th in the 400 free in 6:52 with Alyssa Urquhart, Yolanda Dunning, Ashley Mumbower, and Morgan Dodge. Urquhart was 3rd in the 100 back in 1:44. Mumbower took 5th in the 50 free in 45.37 and 100 free in 1:40. Dunning placed 6th in the 50 free in 46.81 and 100 free in 1:55.
Wiscasset boys won the 200 medley relay in 2:11 with Ross Hanley. Ryan Urquhart, John McLeod and Brian Campbell, and won the 200 free relay with Hanley, Joe Chapman, Urquhart and McLeod.
Hanley won the 200 free in 2:10 and won the 100 fly in a school record 58.96. McLeod won the 50 free in 27.06 and the 100 back in 1:05. Urquhart won the 100 free in 1:09 and was 2nd in the 100 breast in 1:58. Ryan Hanley won the 500 free in 6:21 and was 2nd in the 50 free in 27.06. Campbell took 2nd in the 200 IM in 2:43 and 3rd in the 500 free in 7:12. Joe Chapman was 3rd in the 100 back in 1:35 and 4th in the 200 free in 2:55.
Lincoln Academy boys won the 400 free relay in 5:32 with Steven Severance, Mathew Poland, Peter Wells, and Griffin Han-Lalime. Will Hadden won the 200 IM in 2:31 and was 2nd in the 100 back in 1:11. Severance won the 100 breast in 1:20 and was 4th in the 500 free in 7:15. Peter Huntington placed 2nd in the 200 free in 2:17 and 500 free in 6:40.
Poland took 2nd in the 100 free in 1:28 and 4th in the 50 free in 4:03. Wyatt Ray was 3rd in the 50 free in 34.71. Han-Lalime was 3rd in the 200 free in 2:44. The Eagles placed 2nd in the 200 free relay in 1:51 with Hadden, Ray, Han-Lalime, and Huntington.
