Husson University captured a double header win over the University of Maine Farmington on April 2 in Bangor.
Four Lincoln County athletes play on the two teams. Ben McLain, of Bristol, hit a sacrifice in game one for Husson. Tom Grady, of Whitefield, had a single in each game for the Beavers.
Brandon Soper, of Waldoboro, pitched one third of an inning in relief (0 hits, 0 runs, 0 walks) in UMaine Farmington’s 2-1 loss in game one. Husson won 3-1 in game two. Also playing for Farmington was Jory Humphrey, of Jefferson.
