After 72 scoreless minutes of play, Hyde got a break when Wiscasset keeper Lily Souza slipped and went down on one knee on a cross from Logan Truluck. Lilly Huddle converted for a 1-0 Hyde lead with 8:03 to play in the game. Truluck made good on a penalty kick with 2:37 to play to make it a 2-0 ball game.
