The third annual Icy Elf 5K will be held on Sun., Dec 22 at 3 p.m. Pre-registration is $20, and day of race is $25.
There will be hot chocolate, candy canes, Christmas lights and prizes, including one for the best dressed elf. Local businesses will be open late with hot drinks and snacks and Christmas shopping.
There will be Christmas-themed age group prizes. An Elf will greet runners at the finish line.
Runners can register online or at Long Winter Soap Co, located in Waldoboro Village.
Runners will receive a beanie from BOCO Gear (est. retail value of $26) with their entry (while supplies last).
Walkers are always welcome!
The Kid’s Run is free and completely dependent on the weather.
Monies raised go toward efforts to revitalize and promote the historic Waldoboro Village.
