Indoor Field Hockey is great exercise and the CLC YMCA is opening their floor for the sport during the winter months
The YMCA will again be opening their gym for indoor field hockey pickup games on Sundays from 1-2 p.m., starting Jan. 11. Everyone, from veteran players who have been off the floor for a while to neophytes who have never touched a stick are invited to participate.
Sessions are $12 for members, $30 for non-members.
The YMCA is also offering an indoor Field Hockey clinic for girls in grades 2 – 8. The younger girls will be working on their skills and playing fun indoor games, while the middle school girls will be working on the skills they will need for the indoor tournament in March.
Clinics are on Mondays and run Jan. 5 – March 2. Grades 2-4 3:30-4:30 p.m.
Grades 5-8 4:30-5:30 p.m. Members $15 Nonmembers $30.
