The Jefferson 5K Road Race, sponsored by Boy Scout Troop 216, will be held on Sat., Sept. 23. The race starts and ends at Jefferson Village School, located on Washington Road, just off of Rte. 32 in Jefferson.
Pre-registration cost in $15, and day of race cost is $20. Medals will be awarded to the top male and female finisher in seven different age groups and to the top male and female runner.
To pre-register, mail a check made out to Boy Scout Troop 216 to Jill Huber at 45 Goose Hill Road, Jefferson, Me., 04348.
Walkers start at 7:30 a.m. and the 5K race starts at 8 a.m.
