Lincoln Academy freshman swimmer Noah Jordan won the 100 yard breaststroke at the KVAC championship meet Friday night, held at the Bath YMCA. Jordan, the Eagles record holder in the event, won the KVAC title in a time of 1:07.
Eagles Coach Don Strout was named KVAC Coach of the Year. Belfast’s Alexander Lind was named KVAC boys swimmer of the meet, and Morse’s Ann Tolan was named KVAC girls swimmer of the meet.
Girls results
Camden Hills won the KVAC girls championship with 307 points, followed by Morse 263, Belfast 193,
Waterville 125, Lincoln Academy 108, Winslow 102, Gardiner 67, Erskine 21, and MCI 8.
Lincoln girls placed in all three relays, taking fifth in the 200 medley in 2:19 with Anna Sirois, Sammy Ober, Elise Dumont, and Cassie Leeman; fifth in the 400 free relay in 4:47 with Kate Laemmle, Jordan Farrin, Annie Farnsworth and Essie Martin; and sixth in the 200 free relay in 2:05 with Laemmle, Ober, Farnsworth, and Martin.

Dumont placed sixth in the 100 butterfly in 1:15 and ninth in the 200 IM in 2:47. Ober took sixth in the 100 breaststroke in 1:23. Anna Sirois was eighth in the 100 backstroke in 1:15 and ninth in the 100 butterfly in 1:23. Laemmle swam to two ninth place finishes in the 50 free in 29.89 and the 100 free in 1:07. Martin took 10th in the 500 free in 6:42.
Boys results
Morse won the KVAC boys team title with 296.5 points, followed by Cadmen 249.5, Belfast 246.5, Lincoln 135, Waterville 108, Erskine 53, Oceanside 26, Winslow 18, Medomak 16.5, and Gardiner 2.
Besides his title win in the 100 breaststroke, Jordan also placed seventh in the 100 free in 56:55. Eagle Camden Gulden took fourth in the 100 butterfly in 1:01 and seventh in the 200 free in 2:04. Whitman Vaughn placed fourth in the 50 free in 25:01, and sixth in the 100 free in 56:05. Abe Steinberger took eighth in the 100 breaststroke in 1:22. Camden Reiss swam to two top 10 finishes, taking 10th in the 200 IM in 2:48 and 100 back in the 1:13.
Medomak Valley senior Gavin Felch swam to a fifth place finish in the 50 free in 25:08 and seventh place in the 100 butterfly in 1:06.
Lincoln boys placed in all three relays, placing fourth in the 200 free in 1:44 with Jordan, Alejandro Ramos, Vaughn, and Gulden; fifth in the 400 free relay in 4:06 with Gulden, Seidel, Vaughn, and Jordan; and sixth in the 200 medley in 2:10 with Reiss, Steinberger, Vaughn, and Jordan.
