GSB 41 – Searsport 23The Lady Cougars jumped out to a double-digit lead before the Vikings closed within three. GSB had a strong second half to shut Searsport down for their first win of the season. Scoring for GSB were Jen Genthner 16, Danny Pierce 10, Merissa Look 3, Shania Creamer 3, Charlotte Esancy 3, Emma O’Dell 2 and Ricki Burnham 2. Searsport was led by Briana Grant with 12.

Medomak 41 – Rockland 19Medomak avenged a three-point loss to Rockland with a big win on Saturday. Scoring for the Riverhawks Desiree Benner 12, Emily Leach 4, Elise Wallace 4, Jessie Prescott 4, Amanda H-Belloqueit 4, Abby Vail 3, Heidi Obushon 3, Danielle Hunt 2, Taylor Simmons 2, Olivia Overlock 2, and Desiree Leary 1. Rockland was led by Hannah Plourde with 10.

Lincolnville 36 – Medomak 26Fatigue was a factor in Medomak’s loss to Lincolnville, coming off two tough games with Rockland. Scoring for Medomak were Simmons 5, Benner 5, Overlock 4, H-Belloquiet 4, Miller 2, Vail 2, Leach 2, Leary 1 and Obushon 1. Lincolnville was led by Robin Botley 9 and Libby Simkins 8.

Grade 7 Girls’ Basketball

Rockland 51 – Medomak 17Rockland held Medomak scoreless in first half action. Scoring for the Riverhawks were Taylor Mason 16, Sammie Griffin 4, Paige Theberge 2, Testa Luce 2, Halie Haskins 1 and Amanda Gustafson 1.

Medomak 36 – Lincolnville 19Medomak picked up their win of the season. Scoring for the Riverhawks were Griffin 13, Mason 10, Amanda Young 5, Brooke Benedict 4, Amanda Gustafson 2 and Ann Bartlett 2.

Grade 7 Boys’ Basketball

Rockland 61 – Medomak 23Adam Feener and Nate Mazanec scored 5, Devin Field 4, Tim Farrar 2, Tristan Look 2, Patrick Melody 2, and Mike Austin and David Bryant 1 each for the Riverhawks. Rockland was led by Grindle with 17 and Patterson, 12.

Medomak 62 – Boothbay 59Medomak beat Boothbay 62-59 in overtime on Saturday. Scoring for the Riverhawks were Mazanec 21, Feener 19, Cadison Willis 6, Field 4, Zach Little 3, Will Blodgett 2, Michael Austin 2, Farrar 2, Melody 2, and Josh Lee 2. No scores were provided for Boothbay.

Wiscasset 44 – Medomak 37Scoring for Wiscasset were Travis Padilla 17, Matt Johnson 11, Tom Anderson 6, French 6 and Cainan Griffin 2. Scoring for Medomak were Feener 8, Mazarec 8, Farrar 6, Field 4, Blodgett 2, Little 2 and Ben Carroll 2.

Boothbay 33 – Medomak 29Boothbay out scored Medomak 12-8 in the 4th quarter to pull out a four point win. Scoring for Medomak were Cocco 14, Vannah 4, H-Belloquet 4, Soper 3, Kazu Tibbetts 2, and Murray 2. Scoring for Boothbay were DiMauro 10, Simmons 9, Markee 4, Carroll 4, Dickinson 4 and Colcord 2.

Bristol 62 – GSB 39Bristol scored 28 points in the 4th quarter to beat GSB Monday. Scoring for Bristol were Seward Matel 26, Tom Masters 8, Matt Bolster 6, Mitchell Cummings 2, Justin Robbins 2, Austin Dodge 6 Scoring for GSB were Shane Butterfield 6, Israel Daiute 5, Ben Stone 3, Tyler James 4, and Jake Millet 2.
