Girls’ Soccer

Gardiner 1 – Lincoln 0

Christina Tonry made five saves for Lincoln, and J. Kestle 11 for Gardiner in the Tigers 1-0 win over Lincoln Academy.

 

Lincoln held a 14-4 advantage in shots.

 

Erskine 3 – Lincoln 1

Erskine Academy won the battle of the Eagles. Amelia Phillips, Alison Fortin and Kathy Honea scored goals for Erskine, and Catherine Bolster scored for Lincoln.

 

Boys’ soccer

Lincoln 4 – Gardiner 0

Jacob Barrows scored two goals and had an assist in Lincoln‘s 4-0 win over Gardiner. Derek Juchnik and Jan Talieto added a goal each, and Dalton Leeman and Bo McLain an assist each. Merritt Wotton earned the shutout in net for the Eagles with four saves.

 

Lincoln 2 – Medomak 2

Medomak jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first half. Kyle Scherer got one goal back on a penalty kick with 10 seconds left in the half. Taliento scored the tying goal with 21 minutes left in the second half. Wotton made four saves the first half and Scherer eight saves the second half for the Eagles. Everett Martin and Sam Stone played solid defense, keeping the Panthers off the boards in the second half.

 

Mt. View 1 – Lincoln 0

Mt. View scored on a penalty shot midway through the first half. The Mustangs out shot the Eagles 21-20. “Lincoln was able to keep Mt. Veiw at bay with great consistent midfield play from Bo McLain and Nic Phinney,” coach Greg Rice said.

Lincoln has a 3-4-2 record with four games remaining.
