Lincoln Academy track and field athletes Sara Komorowski and Eric Roberts won events in the Eagles’ first track meet of the season at Camden.
Komorowski won the 300 hurdles in 57.22 and was 4th in the high jump (4’2″) and 100 hurdles in 20.34. Roberts won the shot put (38’2″) and was 6th in the discus (83.9″) and javelin (99’4″). The girls’ 4×400 relay team won in 4:52 with Megan Peavey, Haley Peavey, Katie Moran and Nikki Leeman.
The girls placed fourth out of four teams, Rockland 149, Morse 134, Camden 91 and Lincoln 85. Leeman was 2nd in the 400 in 1:06, 3rd in 200 in 30.03 and 5th in 100 hurdles in 20.63. M. Peavey took 2nd in 110 hurdles in 19.84 and 3rd in 400 in 1:12. Celia Howland placed 3rd in 3200 in 15:05 and 4th in triple jump (22’10.5″). Kiley Bickford was 4th in 300 hurdles in 1:09. Moran was 6th in long jump (12’1″), Olivia Delisle 4th in shot (21’11”) and Erin Dodge 6th in shot (19’11”).
Rockland won the boys’ meet with 156, Morse 148, Camden 79, Lincoln 79, Isleboro 30 and North Haven 10.
Lincoln boys were 2nd in the 4×400 relay in 4:11 with Ben Ransdell, Elliott Barnes, Zach Miller and Jian Giglia. Giglia was 2nd in the 400 in 57.0, 3rd in 200 in 25.44 and 4th in 100 in 12.53. Miller was 2nd in 110 hurdles in 19.95, 300 hurdles in 49.62 and 4th high jump (4’10”). Liam Mullen took 3rd in high jump (5’2″) and 4th in long jump (15’8.5″). Ransdell was 5th in 400 in 58.69 and 6th in 200 in 25.75. Barnes was 6th in long jump (15’5″).
