LA Alumni Top Eagles

After playing multiple games in a tournament on Friday, the Eagles took on the Alumni in the nightcap game and ran out of gas late in the second half, falling 58-50.

The Alumni led 17-13 at the quarter, the game was tied 27-27 at the half. Lincoln took a four point lead in the third, but it was short lived, as the older Eagles ended the third period with a 10-2 run, led by six points from Devin Peaslee and four from Jesse Bagley to take a 48-43 lead into the final period.

1982 State champion soccer team recognizedThree members of the 1982 State champion boys’ soccer team were recognized before the Alumni game. Coach Jeff Bradbury recognized Donovan York, Alan Oliver and David Leeman. The team went 17-1, and out scored their opponents 95-9. They beat Madawaska in the State final. They still hold three Eagle records, including holding their opponents to nine goals in a season, a 16 game win streak, and scoring 17 goals in a game.
