The LA Coastal Hoops Undergrad girls’ basketball team played seven games in seven days, including playing in two tournaments last week. The Lady Eagles’ record is 6-3.
“Katherine Bolster made a nice defensive effort, scoring lots of points off steals, and Laura Soohey did a nice job on the boards,” coach Tim Feltis said. Richmond was led by Plummer with 15.
“All in all, the week went pretty well. Eighth grader Jen Genthner played up and scored in every game but one. With Jen adding points, it has been great to back up Laura [Soohey]. Eighth graders Megan Krah, Danielle Pierce and Colleen Trayers played up as well. They were a little intimidated at first, but made adjustments and were able to focus. Overall the girls have put forth a huge effort to play better as a team,” Feltis said.
