Lincoln Academy girls’ lacrosse team wrapped up their season on May 27 with a long road trip loss 17-8 at Mt. Valley. The Eagles jumped out to a 1-0 lead on a goal from Molly Stackhouse. The Falcons scored the next three to take the lead for good. Stackhouse hit again to pull within one. Mt.Valley netted six out of the next seven goals to put the game out of reach of the Eagles.
Scoring for Lincoln were Stackhouse with 5 goals, and Lexi Fossett, Celia Howland and Allison Fisher (first career goal) a goal each. Scoring for Mt.Valley were Ayla Allen with 11, Nicole Lavorgna 3, Brittany Bedard 2 and Tia White 2.
Lincoln finishes the season with a 2-10 record.
