Lincoln Academy girls tennis team swept Medomak Valley 5-0 on May 3 in Waldoboro. Emily Harris shut out Maggie Ryan 8-0 at first singles. Sandra Thelander defeated Hannah Smith in three sets, 1-6, 6-1, 10-8 at second singles. Polina Scimone swept Jessie Hugh 6-0, 6-0 at third singles. May Halm and Kate Peters teamed up to beat Molly Taylor and Katie Ryan 6-0,6-2 at first doubles. Anastaysia Oliver and Ellie Mathews topped Claire Bourett and Chloe Blake 7-6, 6-1 at second doubles.
