Lincoln Academy girls’ swim team and Wiscasset’s boys’ swim team defeated Winslow on Friday. The Lady Eagles won 47-45 and the boys won 45-38. Tim George broke his own WHS swim record (set in 2005) in the 100 breast in 1:11.00.
Lincoln girls won the 200 free relay in 2:02 with Katie Jackson, Olivia Delisle, Holly Martin and Julia Tichy swimming a leg. They took second in the 200 medley relay in 2:20 with Carolyn Macdonald, Delisle, Tichy and Allison Fisher, and 2nd in the 400 free relay in 5:00 with Fisher, Jackson, Martin and MacDonald.
Tichy won the 100 free in 1:05 and was 2nd in the 200 free in 2:34. MacDonald won the 100 back in 1:20 and was 3rd in the 200 free in 2:43. Holly Martin won the 200IM in 2:52 and was 2nd in the 100 back in 1:29. Delisle was 2nd in the 50 free in 29.11 and 100 breast in 1:22. Jackson took 2nd in the 50 free in 29.11 and 3rd in the 100 free in 1:14. Fisher was 2nd in the 100 fly in 1:30 and 4th in the 100 breast in 1:40.
Rachel Hanley won the 100 breast for Wiscasset in 1:18 and the 50 free in 27.74. Heather Hodgdon was 3rd in the 200 IM in 3:25 and 6th in the 100 breast in 2:00.
George won the 100 breast and 200 IM in 2:16. John McLeod won the 50 free in 25.46 and the 100 fly in 1:02. Ross Hanley won the 100 free in 56.48, and was 2nd in the 50 free in 25.46. Dre Kuhnel won the 100 back in 1:02 and took 2nd in the 200 free in 2:06. Brandon Campbell was 2nd in the 100 breast in 1:19. Wiscasset won the 200 medley relay in 1:55 with McLeod, Hanley, Brandon Campbell and Kuhnel, and won the 200 free relay in 1:38 with Kuhnel, McLeod, Hanley and George.
Lincoln placed 2nd in the 400 free relay in 4:20 with Steven Severance, Julian Howland, Luca Keushguerian and Peter Huntington, and 3rd in the 200 free relay in 1:58 with Howland, Severance, Keushguerian and Huntington.
Huntington took 2nd in the 100 free in 58.92 and 3rd in the 200 free in 2:13. Severance was 4th in the 100 breast in 1:25 and 5th in the 100 free in 1:07. Howland was 5th in the 50 free in 31.83. Keushguerian was 6th in the 50 free in 32.0 and 100 breast in 1:15.
