Lincoln Academy golfer Basel White shot a 38, his best score of the year, to tie for medalist with teammate Bailey Plourde.
Seventeen year old Gardiner High School senior Tristan Hebert hit a hole-in-one on number eight at Wawenock Golf Club in Walpole using a pitching wedge.
Lincoln Academy golf wrapped up their KVAC season on Monday with a 5.5-3.5 win over Gardiner. Two Eagles scored personal best in the win, Basel White and Leonard Wall. Lincoln shot a season low 172 to Gardiner’s 181, the deciding factor in the win.
Gardiner’s Tristan Hebert hit a hole-in-one on number eight at Wawenock, his first hole of the match.
Bailey Plourde and Basel White tied for medalist with 38’s and picked up the only two wins for Lincoln. Wall tied his match with Sam Jermyn.
Lincoln finishes the season at 5-5. They will play in the KVAC semi-finals on Thursday, September 22 at Wawenock.
