Camden 3 – Lincoln 0
Camden Hills girls soccer team handed Lincoln their first loss of the season, 3-0 on Friday. “It was a well played game. We played well. It didn’t feel like a three nothing game,” Lincoln coach Donovan York said.
The Windjammers held a 14-7 edge in shots. Miranda Achorn made five saves for the Eagles, and Rachel Pease four saves for Camden.
Bryn Anderson, Charlotte Messer, and Emma Gutheinz scored a goal each for Camden.
Lincoln 3 – Mt. View 1
The Lincoln Academy girls soccer team improved its record to 3-1 with a 3-1 victory over Mt. View on the road Tuesday. Lillian Bisset scored all three goals, but left the game with a knee injury on the third. Ashley Mason picked up the assist on the first two goals and Dorothy Hodous on the third.
The Lady Eagles held a 16-5 advantage in shots. Miranda Achorn had a quiet night in net with two saves. Logan Basford made seven stops for the Mustangs.
“Alyssa Smith at stopper had a real solid game. Lydia Harris had a great first half at midfield,” coach Donovan York said.
