Lincoln Academy girls soccer team defended the Eagles’ nest Wednesday night against York in a West Class B quarter-final match-up. The Lady Eagles won 1-0 to send the Wildcats packing. After a physical and scoreless first half, Lincoln took the lead on a corner kick. The ball bounced around on a wild scramble before the defense cleared it outside the 18. Lillian Bisset was there to boot it home for a 1-0 Eagle win. Miranda Achorn was rock solid in net for the Eagles, stopping more than two dozen belly busting rockets.
