Lincoln Academy girls soccer team defended the Eagles nest for a 5-0 win over Spruce Mountain on September 15. The Eagles struggled to find net in the early going. Emily Harris got the offense rolling with her first of three goals with 12 minutes to go in the first frame to give the Lady Eagles a 1-0 lead at the half.
Harris added two second half goals, and Tatum Hancock, and Alison York one each. Hancock had two assists and Sammy Ober, Cate Organ and Chelsea Williams one each.
Lincoln held a 42-4 advantage in shots.
